Report Cards
A reminder that report cards were handed out last Friday. I also included a package of assessment rubrics and evidence of your child's learning in the same envelop. Please also take a look at your child's seesaw for more evidence and details of their learning.
Presentations of Learning:
March 12, 2019 from 1:15 – 2:20
This Tuesday all parents are welcome to attend our Presentations of Learning. Students will be presenting their Science inquiry projects. Just a reminder that the learning that students present may NOT be completed, yet. It could be a work in progress. And this is ok!
How do parents support the Presentations of Learning?
First is by showing up, second is by taking an interest in more presentations than those of your own kids. We are a community school, after all! Third and fourth are by asking good questions and providing helpful, strength-based feedback.
What about meetings with teachers?
The presentations of learning are one of the informal reports our school provides to parents. If there are other questions you have for your child’s teacher, please connect with me to request a time together, but please do not do this during the Presentations of Learning. Please email me if you would like to meet personally on Wednesday from 1:35 to 2:35.
Parking? Consider car-pooling
Make room for others when you are done
Looking forward to seeing all on Tuesday!

La semaine du 10 septembre
This is our second week of school. I am so pleased at how excited and motivated the students are about learning and trying to speak in French! This week students need to practice their salutations in French and French numbers 1 to 20. Click here to see the vocabulary for this week. There will be a small quiz on French numbers 1 to 20 this Thursday.
This week students will become detectives. Similar to a detective, students will need to look for clues and make connections while they are learning a new language - FRENCH. At home and at school students need to practice the games and songs from the "Club mystère- Activités" .
Agendas have been handed out to students, please send in 10$ sometime this week.
