Le carnaval d'hiver - le défi ultime

The Carnaval de Québec began today (January, 26, 2018) and so did our French Winter Carnaval at Spring Creek. This morning, the grade 6s of Mme Millen and my class organized and led our CARNAVAL for 40+  students. All instructions and activities were in French. There were 5 different stations around the back trails of the school. Students used their French skills, collaboration and raced to compete each station. After successfully completing a station and speaking in French, students received magic letters which they later had to create a French expression with. Congratulations to BLUE TEAM for speaking lots of French, RED TEAM for your great collaboration and GREEN TEAM for being the first team to finish all stations. Thanks to our 5 parent volunteers; without you this would not be possible. And a HUGE thanks to CRÊPES MONTAGNE for donating all the crêpes and for the parents who brought toppings. Happy FRIDAY!
