outside Collaborative art - Rangolis and mandalas

Out theme this term is learning about different cultures. Here students learnt about Rangoli art from India and Mandala art from Tibet. We watched mini documentaries about their significance and students were asked to create their own Rangoli/Mandala art. Later, in groups, students worked together and selected which art piece they wanted to reproduce outside with chalk.
